Education & Experience

Tristyn received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin before beginning graduate school at UT Austin (Hook ‘Em!). She is currently completing her last semester of a master’s degree in Counselor Education. Tristyn believes that the Lord Jesus Christ is the ultimate Healer and is passionate about working with individuals to make sense of what His death and resurrection means for the intricacies of daily life.

Currently, Tristyn is a Graduate Student Intern under the supervision of Jon Bergeron, Ph.D

Interests & Specialties

Tristyn has experience working with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, body image, substance abuse, relationship issues, self-harm, career issues and life transitions.

Personal

Tristyn met her husband Ryan while they were both undergraduates at the University of Texas at Austin. They enjoy going for long walks, reading, listening to interesting podcasts, playing board games and serving in the nursery at Austin Stone.
